Catholic Church
of the Americas
The Catholic Church of the Americas (CCA) is a member of the One, Holy, Catholic,
and Apostolic Church. The CCA accepts the theology taught by the creedal statements
of the Ecumenical Councils as professed universally by the Church throughout the ages.
We share with all Christians the belief that Jesus is the Child of God and Redeemer of
humanity. We are united with others through the gift of Baptism. The CCA is a
sacramental celebrating the seven sacraments of the Church. The CCA teaches a
Catholic faith with a loving regard for all humanity, and based on intelligent, modern
positions on social issues. We celebrate all, regardless of race, color, gender, sexual
orientation or preference, nationality or socioeconomic status.

"For in one Spirit we were baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free person, and we were all given to drink of one Spirit." (1 Cor 12:13) Christ called all people to the Church. The CCA proclaims and witnesses this Good News to all peoples. All are welcomed unconditionally. Families, singles, the divorced and remarried. People of all sexual orientations. Our Church sacramentally and liturgically celebrates the Catholic tradition in a spirit of acceptance and inclusivity.
